Alaska, sometimes called ALO Alaska or just ALO, is a one-man country that was founded on 2019 Dec. 20th by ToastbrotJ only appearing on Pixels World War (MVP) (canvas 8).
A white Nordic cross lays over the dark green background that is outlined in brighter green. The outlines are light blue where the cross meets the border.
On May 1st 2026, Alaska was incorporated into the North-American Cross Union (NAKU) founded by Subero and ToastbrotJ to unite their countries.
Alaska is made up of 8 Substices (states) that are largely based on the North American continental divides.
The Substice Alaska covers the same area as the US state Alaska and is the core land of the country. The identity of the Substice Alaska is simultaneously the identity of the entire country.

Alaskan Law
The Alaskan Law consists of 3 (three) Paragraphs:
§1 - The Integrity of the Cross
The center of the cross and the 4 adjacent parts congruent to the center of the cross in all four directions must not be covered.
§2 - Ownership of the Parliament
The Parliament represents the seat of the government.
The Parliament is owned by the country that occupies the land directly below the entrance.
The color of the banners of the parliament change depending on the owner.
§3 - Landmark Protection
Pixel art or other landmarks can be protected by the Traditional Unice (TrU) by being marked with a blue-white checkerboard.
Protected landmarks must not be altered or removed.
Symbolism
Tanks

Toast made his first tank in the Poland puppet in Western Siberia in January 2020. The tank was based on the real life tank "Pudel", which was a German Panther tank that was captured by the Polish Home Army during the Warsaw uprising 1944. The tank has been standing as a monument in Alaska whenever Toast is active since April 2020.
Toast has since then created several tank designs, some of which are based on real life models.

Parliament Building
The parliament building was adopted in August 2020 as a representation of the government headquarters. The design of which the original artist is unknown was copied from China. The design on the front face of the building, which was modified by Toast, looks like the letters "ALO", this is why Alaska is referred to as ALO or ALO Alaska.
National Symbol
Since 2026 February 1st, the national Symbol of Alaska is the Szlyssel, an abstract, angular shape.
Before the current one, Alaska had 4 other national symbols, most of which have been declared illegal over time due to being abused by fascist groups.
314-Monument
The 314-Monument is a statue that commemorates the dispute over Banks Island between Alaska and CSNA, who both claimed the territory, in 2020. In October 2020 CSNA used a proxy country to invade ALO, whom they had an NAP with, on Banks Island. When Toast demanded the Island back, the two parties had a 1h 40m discussion about what should happen to the island. They settled on the agreement to split the Island in half at Y-level 314. When CSNA completely invaded Alaska, someone from the CSNA faction wrote "XXX.314 no more" under the former border, Toast did the same when CSNA was defeated in November. To this day the monument stands on Banks Island, reminding of the dispute.
Factories
In 2020 player KyleBowman made factory buildings in Northern Canada. Toast later copied these factories and only found out who actually made them a few years later, originally believing VicVicLudo to have made them. To this day sometimes they can be seen on the Canadian Islands .
Unices
Unices are governmental organizations with different tasks and purposes. Since Alaska is run by only ToastbrotJ, he controls all of the 5 Unices.
The Traditionell Unice is tasked with maintaining visual decoration of the country (border outlines, text, symbols, flags, pixel-art).
The Arms Unice is tasked with fighting for Alaska, its allies, or whomever else Alaska wants to fight for.
The Labour Unice is the most abstract one and I can't think of any practical use for it even if Alaska were to have members
The Signal Unice is tasked with communication such as contacting allies to gear up for battle
The Mercenary Unice "Exekution" is tasked with purging countries of people deemed personal enemies of Alaska. Outsiders can officially become members of this Unice by fighting under the Mercenary flag, but their membership is restricted solely to the Unice, meaning they aren't a member of Alaska as a whole. This Unice first saw action on August 7th 2026 when members of LVNA mobilized to join in the purge of the UNSU commonwealth. The gained land, except for Antarctica, was given away as free after the operation.
