Mod Elections

Mod Elections are elections where people can apply and become PixelPlace mods.

Stages

There are three stages in a mod election.

Stage 1

A mod will announce a new mod election in #announcements on Discord. In the message, there will be a link to apply. In the application, there will be many questions for you to answer.

If you applied to be mod, your application will be reviewed by a mod. If your review is good, you pass on to the second stage. If not, you're denied, given a reason why and will have to apply for the next election.

Stage 2

If you passed on to stage 2, you will be interviewed on what you would do as a mod. Mod will then pick the people who has the best answers.

A voting system was added for the Election of November 2020. After review, the four best applications will be in their own seperate vote. The rest will be in another vote. In the votes, the public will be able to vote for who they want to go to the 3rd stage. Mods will then pick people who are best fit for mod and has a good amount of votes.

Stage 3

A small amount of people will pass on to the third stage. Each person will be given a day of trial mod and mods will decide the best performing person to become mod.

History 

Election of September 2020

The election of September 2020 is the last election of v1 PixelPlace and had four main contestants on stage 3. All of them in order from when they got their trial mod day:

• Lolman
• XXV6
• Epico6

The winner would be XXV6. He stayed as trial mod until the election of November 2020 when he finally got full mod.

Election of November 2020

The election of September 2020 is the first election of v2 PixelPlace and people could actually see mods going through people's applications. 54 people applied for mod, 21 passed to stage 2 , and the 3 people who got to stage three are:

• Ghello
• BeanBoyBean
• Lolman (He disappeared making him disqualified, also gave up doing his trial)

This election is still going on so we don't know the results yet.
