Cathodz
Cathodz, otherwise known as IcarusLegend, is a Pixel Place user who owns two accounts, the first of which, Cathodz, was created on May 17th, 2020, while the second, IcarusLegend, was made in September of 2020. Both accounts have a total pixel count (as of July 15th, 2021) of 10,793,477. IcarusLegend is his primary account. Like many other players on the site, Cathodz was introduced to Pixel Place from Youtuber, Drew Durnil, who briefly streamed and released videos about the game.
Cathodz is currently the co-owner of Kazali's Alternate Earth canvas and it's Discord server, where he spends his time contributing to roleplay and creating content for the KAE lore, as well as just interacting with people.
History
First Experiences
When initially joining Pixel Place, Cathodz didn't do much. On several occasions, he created random nations in the United States on Canvas 7, with names such as Imperium, Union, Nuevo Imperio Mexicano, and others like the Dutch Republic and North Carolina. The first pseudo-community he would join on PP was the League of Antarctic Nations, which was an alliance between several nations that occupied Antarctica on 7. Cathodz essentially unified, or at least try to unify, the players of each nation in the aim of preserving Antarctica as it was. A guild would be made for it, dubbed 'LOAN', and eventually, Cathodz would then go on to create a Discord server for the guild on 7/9/2020. Antarctica on 7 would remain in peace and clean for about 5 days, but ultimately, dotters decimated it.
All of the players who had joined the Discord would leave, thus marking the end of Cathodz's LOAN era on PP.
Frustrated with constant griefing and dotting on 7, Cathodz migrated to Drew's canvas in hopes of being able to establish a country that could last at least a day. He would discover a user (unknown at the time of writing) who created a nation known as the Monarchist States of America, and would go on to conquer the United States as well as other territories abroad with varying success. Cathodz remained in this position of controlling the MSA for a while on Drew's, until one day in August, came across Kazali's Alternate Earth Canvas, which had been just been created.
Kazali's Alternate Earth
Cathodz joined Kazali's Alternate Earth canvas sometime in Mid-August, and joined the Discord server on September 14th 2020. Interested in the concept of paintable oceans and not being restricted by coastlines, KAE seemed like a perfect canvas for Cathodz to create a nation on, and so he did. The Southeast Union was established in, well, the Southeast of the United States on the canvas in Mid-August. After conversing with players on the canvas for some time, it was decided that a Discord server should be made to allow for better communication. This server did just that, and it would essentially shape KAE into the RP-based community that it is today. In fact, it's right for one to assume that Kazali's Alternate Earth Canvas is longest running, still active, roleplay canvas on Pixel Place. Cathodz, now a veteran member and Co-owner of the canvas and Discord, enjoys looking back at the history of the canvas, the players who joined and left, and the heaps of lore that had been built up over the course of the canvas's history. KAE is predominantly where Cathodz spends his time on Pixel Place nowadays, but will occasionally drop by other canvases.
