NOTE: There is a minimum pixel requirement for entering MVP, this being 15,000 pixels, this is to prevent dotting and to slow down alts being able to access MVP.

MVP is supposed to be a canvas where you come to have fun. If you are toxic to other people, or try to ruin the overall experience of the canvas in any way, we may take action and punish you. The rules are the following:

  • No Griefing
  • No Dotting (Note: Dotting your own nation DOES fall under this)
  • No Line Attacking
  • No Framing
  • No Sinking
  • No deliberate targeting of symbols / significant text that's not in your land (deliberate = with the sole purpose of the destruction of the element)
  • No Botting (NOTE: Autoclickers can fall under this category IF they are faster than a regular player's placing speed) Any program, script, tool, exploit, etc that gives the player an unfair advantage in speed falls under this category.
  • No Skipdotting (examples encased in video: https://youtu.be/PM6xy3oEEzU)
  • Keep your land clean; don't leave any random dots in it
  • No Tactics that involve any Variation of any of the Methods mentioned above
  • 2 players with the same color scheme (For instance Red and USSR) cannot invade each other by removing the others faction symbols, they have to use a different color for the invasion, if the flag has multiple colors, use a color that is not used in any part of the flag, or invade from a different side
  • Any attempt to copy a nation will not be tolerated, i.e. Fullcum copying Fulcrum by using a similar design and same color scheme, this is to prevent confusion and possible impersonation.
  • You are 100% responsible for what happens under your name/IP address.
  • Making a new account to apply for MVP after getting banned may increase your ban period.

Art Rules:

  • During an invasion, you are allowed to remove art smaller or equal to 10x10 in size, and no bigger. (Assuming you follow the rules below)
  • Art made on land you don't own can't cover more than roughly half of the country or be larger than 150x150. If it does, then the owner of the country is free to remove the art if they choose.
  • If someone is making art on your land please start a conversation with them first and if no agreement can be made you are free to clear it from your land while the art is still being made.
  • Countryballs, railways/roads, amogus, enlarged arts as well as other easily repeatable images are not considered to be art. However, if the art is VERY good, an exception to this rule can be made by a mod.
  • If you want to remove art in your territory, you may refer to this chart. Art between:
    • 10x10px - 25x25px can be removed after 1 day
    • 25x25px - 50x50px can be removed after 2 days
    • 50x50px - 70x70px can be removed after 4 days
    • 70x70px+ can be removed after 1 week

For help with this rule, consult a mod and if you are not able to 100% guarantee its been there for the length of time required then ask a mod or wait that amount of time before removing it.

  • Griefed art is not able to be altered for 48 hours after it initially being griefed. After that, it's clear that the original artist has no intents of repairing it and can be safely removed. If you are not able to 100% guarantee its been there for the length of time required then ask a mod or wait that amount of time before removing it.
  • Arts related to a country/faction can be removed only 10 minutes after you take control the surrounded land(Overrules the Giant Art Rule). During an invasion it is forbidden to attack them. If you create a faction art in another country which is not owned by you, the owner can remove it any time.

Art size:

  1. Mini art (1x1 - 10x10)
  2. Regular art (10x10 - 25x25)
  3. Medium art (25x25 - 50x50)
  4. Large art (50x50 - 70x70)
  5. Giant art (>70x70)

If you are unsure about any of the rules mentioned above, please send a ticket on discord or consult a moderator.

Definitions:

  • Griefing is mostly associated with art (though in certain cases it can be messing up flags for the purpose of just messing them up), can be dotting at a large scale or dotting with many different colors, or just straight up removal/editing of art in a way that is against Art rules.
  • Dotting is when multiple pixels are placed in a random pattern.
  • Skipdotting is when dotting occurs but in a somewhat orderly pattern. https://youtu.be/PM6xy3oEEzU
  • Framing is not allowed. (Framing = Attacking as a faction you are not a member/ally of, probably to cause conflict. Allies can't start a war without the owner's permission.)
  • Line Attacking is attacking in a straight line for a long stretch of pixels (About 20 pixels).
  • Extreme Lining is line attacking over the 20 pixel limit.
  • Sinking is when someone uses the lightest grey possible to “sink” a country, making it visually harder to see on the map.
  • https://pixelplace.io/18929 showcases the rules in a visual way as well
  • Faction art is considered to be any art related to a nation, guild, ideology or player.

If you see anyone not following these rules, go to Discord, create a ticket in #raise-a-ticket and report the person in the ticket. It would help a lot if you would put screenshots into the reason.
