Pixels World War

Pixels World War, or more commonly known as canvas 7, is a public canvas consisting of a world map and is the most popular PixelPlace.io canvas.

Canvas 7 is also the main canvas you go to when you log on to your account.

How it started

A world map canvas was originally an idea proposed by both moderators at the time, Gusearth and Kazali and several users on the site.

Arguably the thing that inspired Owmince the most to create the soon to be canvases, Pixels World War and Pixels World War: MVP, was a private nationwar roleplay happening on LSVRP, with it taking place on a botted in image of the UK.

The first 3 factions were SIA (Blue), RED (Red), DARKBLUE (Dark Blue).

Only a select few people ever knew what became of the SIA faction, but the rest were forgotten.

On April 1st, 2018, canvas 7 was introduced to the PixelPlace community.

Changes

A big change was made to canvas 7 when the anticipated PixelPlace.io v2 was launched to the public. Changes to the canvas was that it became noticeably bigger, prime island was changed and coin island was added.

Another change was made to the canvas when Owmince reset the canvas, making it smaller, making prime island more split and adding the previously erased lakes to the map.

Another big change was made when Owmince introduced guild/player wars to the community. Guild/Player wars are arenas which the goal is to place as many pixels as you can in just two minutes and each one is in United States, Canada, Russia, Africa, Antarctica, Greenland, Brazil, China, and Australia.

Listenbourg was also added as an addition but was soon replaced by the Bot Island

Special Places

• Prime Island: Prime Island is the area only exclusive to premium members. It was first introduced to the map along with Antarctica, and has undergone many changes.
• Coin Island: First introduced when v2 came out, coin island is the place you can take over and farm coins in the mean time, whilst being able to do anything you want to the island by yourself.
• Gold Rush Island: Gold Rush Island is where you mine your daily gold ore, smelt gold ore into gold bars, and sell them on the auction house in exchange for gold coins in which you can buy stuff in the shop. It is between Brazil and Africa.
• Treasure Chest Island: Introduced in October 2nd, 2023, a place where you can craft and sell framed paintings in auction. Crafted/Bought framed paintings will display on your profile. Framed paintings require ores and gemstones which can be collected by [Treasure Chest], either by buying with gold bar or winning a player war.
