It is unknown when the ROUM guild was first made in PixelPlace v1, and it is theorized the name was chosen in order to not be confused with ROME or ROMA, <br />
<br />
ROUM's member count in v1 stayed relatively the same amount as guilds like HUNG and POLA, though ROUM's presence would be pushed further by NotBaltic's efforts.<br />
<br />
In PixelPlace v2, when the PixelPlace guilds list were reset completely, ROUM would come later than other guilds, and stayed low in the 20-40 range. Though, with the inclusion of battle points, the guild would explode in points, helping it achieve it's spot in the leaderboard today. <br />

Nowadays, NotBaltic is more of a figurehead than an actual leader, that title being given to MarioBrope, who owns the new Discord server, and unofficially runs the guild. <br />
