== History ==

The faction reached it's peak in success in December 2019 when it conquered the vast majority of the map on [[Pixels World War: MVP|MVP (canvas 8)]]. Hirohito's account was terminated (banned) in December 2019 or January 2020 which marked the end of its reign on MVP. The faction later spread to Drew Durnil (Discord map) and owned colonies in north america, the middle east ,and Australia.

== Symbolism ==
Japan was commonly decorated with lots of little Sakura trees, Japanese script symbols and shrines as seen on the pictures below.<gallery>

* What is CSNA?
CSNA stands for Communist States of North America. It is a faction formed by a coup in the [[USSR|USSR]].

The USSR leader was inactive and didn't help in campaigns at all.

The faction was formed by Cactus (USSR general), Aaagamer. (USSR colonel)

We picked all active USSR members to help with the rebellion against Adsefy.(USSR leader) When we told him to give us owner so we make USSR alive again, he banned all of us.
* Why name it CSNA?

Aaagamer wanted to make a new communist faction in the Americas so we thought of a name, once Aaagamer had found the name it was first named CSA (communist states of america)

But the name was too short for a pixelplace guild, so we renamed it to CSNA (Communist States of North America) after, with the goal of protecting all good art of the Americas.

(just want to say CSNA was the first guild on V2)

* The SELJ American conflict
one of SELJ members decide to do colonies in america which CSNA didnt like, so they did compaigns to kick SELJ out of america even if they are an ally, and then SELJ left Brazil peacefully to CSNA and stayed allies
* the American CSNA-NUWA wars
a large set of wars against NUWA, NUWA members have taken the americas as their core land but CSNA arrived and beaten up NUWA multiple times, after almost 30 wars that stands for like 2 months, NUWA surrendered and agreed to sign a non aggression pact with CSNA if they quit america for once and forever
* the Alaskan conflict
In fear of being invaded, ToastbrotJ signed a non aggression pact with CSNA for a lot of his land. Soon after, Toast allegedly griefed art from SELJ lands which breaks the most important policy of CSNA, art keeping

Then, CSNA declared war on Alaska to take revenge of the removed art in Asia, Alaska was getting support by NUWA but it wasn't enough to help it survive. Toast got banned for a short time, but the ban was dropped upon lack of evidence.

There were many other disputes between CSNA and Alaska, one of which was about the division of Banks Island, Canada, after it was taken from Alaska by a third party country and then taken by CSNA. After a 1:40 hr discussion, the two came to an agreement of a border at the y-coordinate 314.

CSNA had an uprising in v2, with allenboi or tringleman creating CSNA which is the first guild ever made in v2, CSNA got a lot of new members growing really fast and gaining the most active faction on the entire MVP community

== The Fall of CSNA ==
On October 27,2020, 1:30pm, the American revolution began. Many NUWA attacks took place. The first attacks took place in the east, including attacks on Miami, Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston.Then, attacks on San Francisco and Los Angelos took place, After more attacks from NUWA, they had pushed CSNA back to the midwestern region of America, at this point, NUWA had won.

== The Comeback ==
A day after CSNA "fell", Abhinav21 organized a ragtag group of people to annoy NUWA in pink.

After a few minutes, the USA was secured, the pink was painted red, and the red was CSNA. CSNA had come back despite many people thinking they were gone for good.

== The second fall ==
After an initial decline in spirit by the rebels after CSNA re-took all of north america the next rebellion began using dark green in washington eventually leading to a pacific coast nation in control of the west coast of america

In the meantime 2 future CANA members (Golden1 and Lucasboi7) started to attack canada in white establishing what is now canada within 2 days

In the end NUWA claimed all of the USA while canada took canada marking the official end of CSNA until the next comeback

== Period of Inactiveness ==
After the second fall CSNA went inactive for a while making many think CSNA was dead however that was just not true. Behind the scenes CSNA was planning its revival. The revival happened on December 10th 2020.

Many thought due to CSNA being inactive that there was no chance for a revival however plans were being drafted behind the scenes for a revival, that revival happened on December 10th 2020.

There are currently two CSNA holidays - 22nd and 20th of december.

20th December - NoName1 banned

NoName, a longtime enemy and nuisance to CSNA, got banned, which many members celebrated.

22nd of December - Fall of Alaska

Following a long battle between Alaska, led by ToastbrotJ (common rival of CSNA) and CANU, led by Kelzod (ally of CSNA), Alaska finally fell. This was highly celebrated.

Its no secret that much of MVP heck even pixelplace does not like communism, communist guilds, and communist players, this has become a big factor in the current landscape of MVP where guilds like CSNA and USSR simply cannot thrive as they once had. No longer is Communist guilds being hated an opinion but a fact.

NORD is a medium-sized faction most prominent on MVP (canvas 8) which also appears on Regular World War (Canvas 7) and Inverted (Canvas 9). It's flag is a combination of all Scandinavian countries.

==History==
Nord's most active member is Marsbound who plays almost every day and was the person who made NORD the largest faction on MVP in late December of 2019 and in Mid-Febuary of 2020. He also originally created the faction in Mid November to unite the Nordic Nation on the Regular World War map before quitting and then joining MVP. He then re-joined the faction as it was created again. This second creation of NORD is sometimes called NORD II and the original was NORD I. Marsbound's last act as the leader of NORD II was to slit up his lands to his allies. NORD III was started days after the fall of NORD II. It was meant to be a smaller empire in North Europe. Nord III then died as Marsbound took a 2 week break form the game. He then returned in early February after KLMR (Kalmar Union) essentially remade the nation. This Kalmar Union form of NORD. and the current Nord, is known as Nord IV. During Nord IV, Nord united with New Mexico. Nord was very inactive between March and May of 2020, mainly due to constant war with Fulcrum and Flux, once again making it a "Banned Nation". ToastbrotJ became the sole active member of Nord this time until May when Marsbound Rejoined and Nord began to grow again. Until June, Nord was unified with NUWA, until breaking free with help from Notty03 and making The Nordic Union. In July of 2020, NUWA was absorbed into NORD. NoName2 and many other players soon joined NORD, including Coolguy1 and Lulisis.Marsbound re-joined the NORD discord server and influenced Limeio to rejoin MVP.

The beginning of Nord II. This is during the Japanese-World War. This is when Nord truly came into existence. This was in late December 2019, just a few days after ToastbrotJ joined NORD.

Early on, Nord ate lands from the collapsing Japanese world empire to gain lands in Russia. These Russian lands would last a very, very long time.

This was taken after FLUX was disintegrated by Cyclic.This would be seen as Nord's final expansion.

This was when Nord II was at what some consider to be its peak. Not too longer after this, Nord II would collapse.

Nord III did not last very long, and did not get very large. Nord III also covered the era in which Nord could essentially not be made. This was when Nord was a "Banned Nation."

Drew Durnil Incursion

The Drew Durnil Incursion was a major event that started on May 12th 2020 and mainly broke out on the 15th when a YouTuber with 500K subscribers named Drew Durnil uploaded a video about PixelPlace and many of his fans (named "''Drewfags''" by the community) rushed into the website, causing PixelPlace to have a large queue and to crash multiple times, The highest recorded queue number was 4.8K

from the 12th of May to the 15th of May, occurred the main part of the Drew Durnil invasion of pixelplace.io, which boosted the player count of the entire site from around 110 to well over 550 people. On the 12th Drew switched his stream on twitch from Age of Civilizations 2 to pixel place, and under the name ''Drewdurnil'', he began to lead the swarm of people that some OGs called "''drewfags''" and "''drew*******''". a few days later on the 15th Drew had uploaded an edited video from his stream that gave all of his 573k subscribers a view onto Pixelplace's main canvas, the infamous [[Pixels World War|canvas 7 (Pixels World War)]].

PixelPlace.io is a r/place clone made on April 4th, 2017 by [[Owmince]] to bring back it's functionalities of placing pixels on a canvas to make art.

On May 15th, 2020 & June 6th 2020, the website spiked in popularity when a YouTuber called [[Drew Durnil]] made two videos on the website.

Since then, PixelPlace has undergone plenty more raids from Turkish, Russian and French people and has gone under a lot of changes, most notably the [[V2|PixelPlace-V2-update]], which released on October 9th, 2020.

Taiwanese World Conquest

The '''Taiwanese World Conquest''' also known as the '''Taiwanese hegemony''' or the '''Taiwanese Impact''' was a successful world conquest led by Renko on 12/12/2021. TAIW members had a hegemony on the whole pixel planet. People who participated in this include [[GabbyAckbar]], [[SalX]], [[Person32]], and [[CrystalWolf9]].

[[Renko]], who was getting bored of TAIW decided to plan a great finale weeks in the making. He proposed to end TAIW with a bang by starting a World Impact instead of disbanding with a whimper.

=== The Pieces Fall Into Place ===
With Pixel Place activity on MVP slowly grounding to a halt with only minor fighting in Europe, Renko decided to implement unity around the Earth. On 12/11/2021, Renko wished for one last grand finale before he disbanded it. The Taiwanese World Impact was initiated.

=== TAIW Impact begins ===
Responding to Renko's wish, TAIW members began helping conquer the globe. Many members joined in. The conquering was so powerful, it ended it rapidly engulfing the Earth in phases. Opposition was unable to fight back against the invasion, causing a cascade field of people so large who joined in to help TAIW conquer the world. America was conquered slowly first, then Alaska and BLND North rapidly. Soon they advanced into Mexico and Latin America. The TAIW mainland in China began pushing west to the Middle East. Africa was taken by 3 PM EST and Antarctica was taken by late 5 pm EST. Soon they advanced into Europe. The whole world was conquered.

Though fufilling Renko's wish, Renko's time was up. At 6:27 PM EST Renko decided to disband TAIW. Everyone thought Renko was cool. Renko's decision causes the TAIW hegemonic world to fall and disband into pieces slowly.Milos1389,a UNPR member and the PAKI guild were the first to start tearing down the empire.The empire imploded, as the whole world descended into a diadochi. The Taiwanese Impact ends.

Finally they took over the Americas and Russia, and at last, Greenland. They didn't take CITY because It's art. Big victory for WIPE.

Then when FULC died NUWA started to become a major player in the game and was revitalised many times under different leaderships.

NUWA was not happy and that's when the darkest day of NUWAneese history happened. [[NoName1|NoName]] almost retired and was depressed. The war started and it was a close one. SELJ did a great job at controlling information. However, they had made a lot of people angry with how large they had expanded and a lot of people fought. 4 SELJ wars emerged and it was a NUWAneese victory.

TROP was growing in strength and NUWA grew very wary. Both had gained a lot of enemies. Eventually, a war emerged and TROP took PEI and the coast. NUWA hated trop from that point on and the TROP-NUWA cold war began. Both shared NORD friendship. Eventually, because of the [[League of Nations]] and the effort of ThingBing and [[Scratchsim]], peace talks were held. [[CrystalWolf9]] became an issue in this due to his close relations to nuwa and dislike of trop, so they prevented him from entering the private peace server under fear of that causing a fall of peace talks. NUWA and TROP became good friends and even united to form NNTK which then formed NTRP which then went back to NNTK again and then NUWA and TROP uniformly, but peacefully, separated into their own separate guilds. Now they are good friends.

=== CSNA-NUWA Wars of America (also known as the 2nd SELJ Wars) ===
after NUWA has been attacked multiple times by SELJ, CSNA appeared and considered NUWA as the major American nemesis. The battle started of a quick 6 player battle in Mexico started by CSNA on their first campaign. CSNA quickly gathered up to 9 people and got all of NA quickly leaving NUWA with Canada. Soon, NUWA countered, getting all of NA again. After CSNA allied SELJ, CSNA launched a big campaign with more than 15 people right into America while and this was the first world campaign for CSNA / SELJ alignment. Soon after no name got banned from MVP so he quit. NUWA tried a comeback aligning with anti SELJ pact and gathering up to 10 people CSNA leaders got really mad and ordered a full mobilization, this was one of the largest MVP battles if not the largest, over 40 players fought in 1 area, at first NUWA was winning and then CSNA struck back with more than 25 members from SELJ / CSNA / LAKE / UPF and quickly outnumbered them. NUWA continued to exist but because [[NoName1|NoName]] was banned he quit MVP until the mods quit their tyranny. They became purely ceremonial and NUWA would emerge every once and a while.

<big>NUWA civil war</big>

In January of 2021 NUWA returned to retake the us, split between MLGdigimons nuwa and NoName's nuwa. They divided the country in two, over the course of a day, NoName, along with other members overtook MLGdigimon in a civil war that would define the guilds legacy. In the end NoName won out, now brandishing a new flag design they continue to hold the us as of 2/7/2021. While NUWA might never return to its former glory it has restored its name in the eyes of most as its most hated member, MLGdigimon was finally delt with. NUWA has an uncertain future but at this point things are looking up.

<big>NUWA-SPQR War</big>

In February 16th, SPQR invaded the USA from the south, and 3 countries broke away on the east coast. At first SPQR was able to take much of the land and Walmartobama was caught skipdotting. However, more people began to support NUWA and NUWA got its land back, and took over the 3 breakaway states as well.

In a day, Pakistan was annexed as an western landmass owned by the Hey Republic. The Hey Republic then lost Pakistan to the [[PAKI]] guild who is an ally of NANJ.

Nothing has happened so far, the Republic has been peaceful and no one has invaded yet.

== History ==

=== Pre-V2 ===
The original size of the canvas was 1025×670 until in early to mid 2020 Antarctica was first added to MVP. Later in the same year, Prime Island, to which only premium players have access, was added. the minimum amount of pixels one has to have placed to qualify for access to the canvas used to be 5000 pixels instead of today's 15000. A few hours before the V2-update on October 9th 2020, the canvas was officially declared anarchy due to it later being reset to blank white by the update and the whole map was griefed. This event was known as "the purge".

=== Post-V2 ===
With the V2-update on October 9th 2020 the canvas was reset and the size was approximately doubled. Over time, the rate at which pixels could be placed increased, which evened out the increased canvas size. In 2021 lakes were added across Canada and the design of Prime Island was updated.
