The '''Nord VPN Antarctica Art''' was a full country artwork made by Player Epico on July 31st 2020.

On September 5th 2020 the art was purged marking the first time a full country art of Antarctica was removed and the continent conquered by the community. One could argue that the first occasion of such an event was in March 2020 when the FLUX art was removed from Antarctica, but at the time that was regarded as faction art or part of the flag.

== Background ==
The artwork was made by Player Epico on July 31st 2020 after Antarctica belonged to PATK, NORD and Romania.

The piece changed several times over the next months with people adding their flags and ships to it. The initial artwork said “Nord VPN” before the “Nord” was removed to make room for ships.

At the time the artwork existed the MVP Art rules still treated full-country art as regular art, unlike today where such pieces are not protected at all, which made it possible for it to survive for a long time as giant art.

== Purge ==

On September 5th 2020 at around 4PM UTC people started to erase the art and to conquer the purged territory. During the purge, Player ToastbrotJ framed a section of the piece to keep it as a memorial. After the event Antarctica was divided between seven (7) countries/players: Alaska, Rasib, England, BeanboyBean, Spaniardball, ANCAP and Rome(?). A few hours after the purge, FLUX completely took over Antarctica and later made an intricate, colorful design as typical for the faction.

A white Nordic cross lays over the dark green background that is outlined in brighter green. The outlines are light blue where the cross meets the border.

Since May 1st 2026 Alaska is part of the [[NAKU|North American Cross Union (NAKU)]] founded by [[Subero]] and Toast.

Alaska is made up of 8 ''Substices'' (states) that are largely based on the North American continental divides.

The Substice ''Alaska'' covers the same area as the US state Alaska and is the core land of the country. The identity of the Substice Alaska is simultaneously the identity of the entire country.

Toast made his first tank in the Poland puppet in Western Siberia in January 2020. The tank was based on the real life tank "Pudel", which was a German Panther tank that was captured by the Polish Home Army during the Warsaw uprising 1944. The tank has been standing as a monument in Alaska whenever Toast is active since April 2020.

Toast has since then created several tank designs, some of which are based on real life models.

The parliament building was adopted in August 2020 as a representation of the government headquarters. The design of which the original artist is unknown was copied from China. The design on the front face of the building, which was modified by Toast, looks like the letters "ALO", this is why Alaska is referred to as ALO or ALO Alaska.

Before the current one, Alaska had 4 other national symbols, most of which have been declared illegal over time due to being abused by fascist groups.

The 314-Monument is a statue that commemorates the dispute over Banks Island between Alaska and CSNA, who both claimed the territory, in 2020. In October 2020 CSNA used a proxy country to invade ALO, whom they had an NAP with, on Banks Island. When Toast demanded the Island back, the two parties had a 1h 40m discussion about what should happen to the island. They settled on the agreement to split the Island in half at Y-level 314. When CSNA completely invaded Alaska, someone from the CSNA faction wrote "XXX.314 no more" under the former border, Toast did the same when CSNA was defeated in November. To this day the monument stands on Banks Island, reminding of the dispute.

On May 1st 2026 (2AM UTC), Subero reached out to ToastbrotJ to propose a "Cross Union" between the countries in North America bearing a cross on their flags, in form of an alliance. Toast liked the idea and had hope a joint project could help restore activity on MVP, while Subero's motivation was to "fix" North America and back each other up. They agreed on founding a new country and uniting their countries - [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alo Alaska]] and Subero - under a common flag. After Toast created a few designs with Subero in a call, they agreed on the flag seen above and on the German name ''Nord-Amerikanische Kreuz-Union Vinländischer Nation.''

The Szlyssel - Alaska's national symbol - was also adopted to represent the Alaska part of the country, but was dropped and replaced by the double harpoon in June to avoid entanglement between NAKU and Alaska.

The first appearance of the "Tower of Stolpe" as pixel art was in 2022 after Toast made a trip to the castle with his then girlfriend, player Myeya.

The Name ''Grützpott'' is the real life nickname of the tower based on its folklore, according to which the inhabitants of the castle threw their every last belongings down onto the besiegers, until they had only a big pot of porridge that was thrown on the town smith's head.

The tank was based on the real life tank "Pudel", which was a German Panther tank that was captured by the Polish Home Army during the Warsaw uprising 1944. The tank has been standing as a monument in Alaska whenever Toast is active since April 2020.

When Toast demanded the Island back, the two parties had a 1h 40m discussion about what should happen to the island. They settled on the agreement to split the Island in half at Y-level 314. When CSNA completely invaded Alaska, someone from the CSNA faction wrote "XXX.314 no more" under the former border, Toast did the same when CSNA was defeated in November. To this day the monument stands on Banks Island, reminding of the dispute.

Toast made his first tank in the Poland puppet in Western Siberia in January 2020. The tank was based on the real life tank "Pudel", which was a German Panther tank that was captured by the Polish Home Army during the Warsaw uprising 1944. The tank has been standing as a monument in Alaska whenever Toast is active since April 2020.

Toast has since then created several tank designs, some of which are based on real life models.

Before the current one, Alaska had 4 other national symbols, most of which have been declared illegal over time due to being abused by fascist groups.

The 314-Monument is a statue that commemorates the dispute over Banks Island between Alaska and CSNA, who both claimed the territory, in 2020. In October 2020 CSNA used a proxy country to invade ALO, whom they had an NAP with, on Banks Island. When Toast demanded the Island back, the two parties had a 1h 40m discussion about what should happen to the island. They settled on the agreement to split the Island in half at Y-level 314. When CSNA completely invaded Alaska, someone from the CSNA faction wrote "XXX.314 no more" under the former border, Toast did the same when CSNA was defeated in November. To this day the monument stands on Banks Island, reminding of the dispute.

The original size of this canvas was 1025×670 until around early to mid 2020, when Antarctica was added to MVP. Later in the same year, '''Prime Island''', to which only premium players have access, was also added. The minimum amount of pixels a Player had to have placed to qualify for access to MVP was 5000 pixels. A few hours before MVP was updated to Version 2 on October 9th 2020, the canvas was officially given anarchy status before the impending reset. This resulted in mass griefing, causing Canvas 8 to heavily resemble Canvas 7. This event was known as "The Purge".

With the V2-update on October 9th 2020, the canvas was reset and its size was approximately doubled. The rate at which pixels could be placed was increased, which was to compensate for the increased canvas size. In 2021, lakes were added across Canada and the design of Prime Island was updated. Currently, The Pixel Count requirement to be accepted into MVP, is 15000 pixels.

The '''[[EPRS]] Conflict''' of May 2020, also called '''EPRS Crisis''', was a series of events on [[Pixels World War: MVP|Canvas 8]] in North America that resulted in EPRS being defeated by [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alaska]], [[FLDA]], [[MRCA]] and [[ROME (Formerly HOLY)|ROME]], and later EPRS, [[ROSS]], and FLDA uniting under a common flag as [[FULC (Fulcrum)|Fulcrum]] to take control of the entire continent and more territories and forcing Alaska to temporarily move to Scandinavia.

== Background ==

In May 2020, EPRS leader [[Vadar12]] came back to establish EPRS in Canada after a 1-week break. Until May 26th, North America was divided between Alaska (ToastbrotJ), EPRS (Vadar12), MRCA ([[Medfred3 - MDNW|Medfred3]]) and FLDA ([[BenHerr]]). Alaska was part of [[NORD]] (lead by [[Marsbound]]) which was allied to MRCA and on good terms with FLDA. All of those 4 countries/factions who shared North America were part of the [[UPF|UPF (United Pixel Factions)]], a group of countries that vowed not to be hostile to one another. EPRS and FLDA were members of [[Fulcrum Alliance|Fulcrum]], a militant branch of UPF.

After [[Abhinav21]] (informal EPRS member) invaded Alaska, including Alaskan Mexico, BenHerr and ToastbrotJ started seeing EPRS as a threat and developed a negative view on the faction.

On May 1st 2026 (2AM UTC), Subero reached out to ToastbrotJ to propose a "Cross Union" between the countries in North America bearing a cross on their flags, in form of an alliance. Toast liked the idea and had hope a joint project could help restore activity on MVP, while Subero's motivation was to "fix" North America and back each other up. They agreed on founding a new country and uniting their countries - [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alo Alaska]] and Subero - under a common flag. After Toast created a few designs with Subero in a call, they agreed on the flag seen above and on the German name ''Nord-Amerikanische Kreuz-Union Vinländischer Nation.''

As creative director, Toast decided to incorporate Alaska and absorb its administrative features into NAKU. Thus the Substices (subdivisions) of Alaska which are based on the continental divides, were adopted by NAKU with the change of Buffin Island becoming an independent Substice as the core-land of the country.

The Szlyssel - Alaska's national symbol - was also adopted to represent the Alaska part of the country, but was dropped and replaced by the double harpoon in June to avoid entanglement between NAKU and Alaska.

'''June''' - NAKU was repeatedly attacked by LVNA, who controlled Greenland, and eventually settled an NAP with them. Half of the big LVNA horse on Greenland was illegally removed during invasion by NAKU members which resulted in Toast getting banned for 3 days for approving the removal. The national flag of NAKU was one of 3 proposed designs made by Toast and unites the national colors of Subero (blue) and Alaska (green, white) with the Nordic cross that both of these countries have on their own flags. In addition, the Szlyssel - national symbol of Alo Alaska - graces the top-left corner of the flag, which arguably looks hella tuff.

EPRS (Empire of the Rising Sun) was an [[Pixels World War: MVP|MVP]] faction founded and led by user [[Vadar12]]. The faction was active from early- to mid-2020 and on May 28th 2020 united with [[FLDA]] to form [[FULC (Fulcrum)|Fulcrum]].

EPRS was part of [[UPF]] and its militant branch Fulcrum, which later turned into a country as a result of the [[2020 EPRS Conflict|EPRS crisis]].

Fulcrum was established on May 28th, 2020 when the Founding Fathers of the alliance, [[BenHerr|BenHerr]] of [[FLDA|FLDA]]/[[ROME (Formerly HOLY)|ROME]], [[Vadar12|Vadar12]] of [[EPRS|EPRS]], and [[Abhinav21|Abhinav21]] of [[ROSS|ROSS]], agreed to combine forces into a new faction altogether, and would lead it together as The Triumvirate. The result was the creation of one of the most powerful factions in MVP history. == General History ==
Fulcrum, at its height, would consistently control most of the Americas (with North America being it's homeland), Oceania, Australia, Southeast Asia, a handful of African territories, Iceland, Norway, and portions of Greenland along with an Antarctic colony. Land claimed by Fulcrum was colored black, decorated with white crosses and variations of the Fulcrum symbol. Fulcrum would also have influence over the rest of world that it didn't occupy through client states and relations with other [[UPF|UPF Alliance]] Members.

Eventually, new factions would form and attempt to dislodge Fulcrum's undisputed dominance over the globe. Anti-Fulcrum movements were consistently crushed throughout the Summer of 2020. However, due to eventual low member activity and an influx of new players caused by YouTuber [[Drew Durnil|Drew Durnil]], Fulcrum began to decline. And eventually, a new anti-Fulcrum faction known as [[NUWA|NUWA]], would rally enough forces and allies to rival the now shrinking Empire. Fulcrum and the UPF Alliance as a whole would continue to lose influence and territory worldwide into Fall of 2020.

Despite it's sharp decline, Fulcrum would continue to hold on as it's remaining members continue to defend the nation they loved so dear. Unfortunately, the Empire was doomed despite attempts to fully reignite it's war machine. By late August, Fulcrum had lost roughly 80% of its users, and had lost much of its global influence. Fulcrum would eventually become "dormant" on September 1st, 2020, as user BenHerr "officially retired" the faction in an announcement on the former Fulcrum operations discord server.

Despite the announced shutdown of the faction, it would still live on, one way or another. On September 23rd, multiple users attempted to revive the faction without permission from the Founders. One user with malicious intentions attempted to impersonate Fulcrum in Turkey. To prevent massive confusion over the status of Fulcrum and to protect its memory, MvP Moderators were asked to intervene in the situation. In order to avoid a possible ban, the user, at the last minute, changed the doppelgänger faction's name to "Fullcum" while retaining Fulcrum's color and decorative style. MvP mods would rule that creating knockoff versions of factions with malicious intent should be illegal. The creator of the Fulcrum knockoff would initially refuse to comply with the mods, and maintained the presence on the MvP canvas. After receiving multiple warnings, however, the user backed down and ceased maintaining the Fulcrum bootleg. In order to prevent this kind of situation from happening again, MvP moderators would update the [[MVP Rules|MvP Rules]] page with a new measure that prohibits users from making knockoffs of factions with malicious intent. This incident was used as an example in the new entry, fully solidifying Fulcrum in the Pixelplace Canon.

== The Big Sike! ==

Following the Impersonation/Knockoff incident, it was widely assumed that Fulcrum was shut down for good. However, that was not the case. On 10/05/20, the Triumvirate went back into session and began to plan a revival of the faction, scheduling it to occur when [[V2|PixelPlace V2]] would be launched. A meeting with the [[CSNA|CSNA]] was arranged, and an alliance was established. On 10/08/20, the faction was fully re-activated, and an official campaign was greenlighted on Canvas 7. Fulcrum would occupy all of Greenland, the presence occupied with a massive Fulcrum logo made by Abhinav21.

On 10/09/20, [[V2|PixelPlace V2]] was released. The Faction was declared to be fully operational once again, and a massive MVP campaign was authorized by the Triumvirate and led by Triumvir Ben Herr. Due to the canvas being of a much larger size, and a few server crashes, the campaign took longer than anticipated but was ultimately successful within a few hours. Some arguments arose from neighboring factions but the disputes were resolved before they evolved into full fledged conflicts.

This event would be know as "The New Revival". However, this newly established Fulcrum presence would not last for long. Following the Fifth Fulcrum world war and other conflicts, Fulcrum's influence and strength would once again deteriorate, due to the decreasing amount of faction members and user activity.

== "The End" ==
The New Rival, despite its promise, would be short lived. With dwindling manpower and influence, and with the growing power of rival factions such as NUWA and the Seljuks (SELJ), Fulcrum would be pressed into more remote areas of the globe, struggling to remain afloat. By November of 2020, Fulcrum had become a "Remnant" of its former self, and confined its presence to islands north of the Russian mainland. By the middle of the month, Fulcrum would regain some strength that would allow itself to establish a presence in Siberia, however that would not last. By December, all remaining Fulcrum members would become inactive. The Triumvirate dissolved by 12/31/20, rendering Fulcrum defunct.

This was considered to be the final blow to Fulcrum. The faction would remain deactivated for almost the entirety of 2021. However, something... remained. A spark. And as of 12/08/21, we have officially, returned. Even though we are not as what we were once, we are back, watching, hanging on to what we can. We are not sure of our future, but we do know that we have one. Any and all further events involving Fulcrum, will be logged into the timeline below. We rose, we conquered, we fell, and we have risen again.

|A disagreement occurred during this time that led to the Fulcrum alliance temporarily to break down. FLDA, ROME and UPF allies would invade EPRS on behalf of NORD. Later on, NORD was revealed to have malicious intentions and had ultimately manipulated its new allies. All parties that attacked EPRS would join forces with the faction and invade NORD instead.

<nowiki> </nowiki>Result: EPRS defeated. NORD defeated following side switch. NORD forced out of its territories. One of the leaders of NORD, Marsbound, would quit Pixelplace MvP for some time. ROME's leader, Gull, would resign as faction leader at the end of the conflict. ROME itself as a faction would ultimately collapse as a result. All Roman territory in Europe and Asia was given to TURK as a gift for their efforts by Fulcrum.

|This world war was initiated when [[NUWA|NUWA]], NETH, and [[Canada|CNDA]] declared war on Fulcrum, Hungary, Vietnam, and UPF allies. For unknown reasons however, Vietnam (led by the user Xiao) joined the aggressors.

INDO would initially try to ally with Fulcrum but a coup occurred within the faction. The leader of coup intended to ally with the Dutch and to fight against Fulcrum. That user lost in the power struggle and was ridiculed by much of the MvP community. [[INDO|INDO]] would ultimately fight alongside Fulcrum. [[NANJ|NANJ]] (Japan) would also join Fulcrum and INDO to help secure the Pacific Front.

Result: Fulcrum and its allies suffered heavy losses during the first half of the conflict but ultimately the attacking parties surrendered and were defeated.

Fulcrum's and Hungary's dominance over the canvas remaining intact. NUWA's presence on MvP disappeared for some time. Vietnam allowed to continue existing. CNDA was given a portion of Northern Canada. NANJ was given dominance over Far Eastern Asia. Chinese land was ultimately seceded to the user Xiao to avoid further conflict. A land dispute occurred between the land boundaries in SE Asia between Fulcrum and INDO however.

Result: Attacking factions ultimately defeated. However, Fulcrum and Hungary would become somewhat inactive following this event as their leaders would take a break from Pixelplace as faction maintenance became very time consuming. Abhinav21 would lead Fulcrum in its "final days". BenHerr would revive FLDA for a short time.

As a result, this event marked the end of Fulcrum's Golden Age and its undisputed dominance over Canvas 8.

And so he resorted to invade Fulcrum and make due with what he could capture. His attacks failed, and the result was a decisive Fulcrum Victory.

|After a managing to maintain a strong Fulcrum presence, Triumvir BenHerr recognized the growing threat that was the Seljuks (SELJ). And so, he went to great lengths to secure a strong resistance against the ever growing new rival.

EPRS was revived, and began taking over the Middle East, splitting SELJ territory in two for a time. TURK was also remobilized. However, this united force was not enough to stop the immense power of the Seljuks. SELJ declared war, and EPRS was invaded and quickly conquered.

PKST leader Lauchian would once again impersonate PAKI and ally with SELJ, both factions initiating a blitzkrieg into Fulcrum territory in SE Asia. A last stand was made in Australia, but the Fulcrum presence was soon engulfed.

TURK attempted to recreate the Ottoman Empire, but that effort was repelled by the Seljuks. HUNG attempted to setup a presence in South America, but also was overrun.

In a last ditch effort, the Fulcrum Triumvirate contacted VOID, and organized a final retaliation against SELJ that contained a ragtag crew of users from various factions. Attacks were initiated across Europe, Africa, and Asia, but all had fruitless results. The Seljuks proved to be too powerful. SELJ had achieved a strength that was beyond what Fulcrum had obtained in its height

NANJ would join the conflict towards the end, as SELJ broke their NAP with the nation and proceeded to invade. NANJ was ultimately defeated as well.

Conclusion: Fulcrum and allies defeated. Decisive Seljuk victory.

|Now restrengthened with new members and allies, in a joint decision by all three Triumvirs, the Remnant declared war on NUWA, in response to a harsh beatdown of a Floridian independence led by the user known as "Ridder" (Riddler). What started as a small conflict evolved into a large scale invasion of NUWA. During the first half of the conflict, Fulcrum forces became overwhelmed initially until more members and allies got online, turning the tide of the war. This event has demonstrated that better days are indeed stored for Fulcrum once again.

Result: Decisive Fulcrum and Ridder Victory. NUWA defeated and wiped from the Canvas. NUWA's North American territories would be claimed by Ridder while their Siberian lands would be annexed by the Remnant.

|Extended NUWA-Fulcrum Conflict (11/17-20/20)
|A war would rage on between Fulcrum and Nuwa during this time. Both sides would receive devastating losses. NUWA first due to Fulcrum's newly increased manpower, and Fulcrum second after an unknown collation made of former SELJ members invaded, quickly overwhelming the faction due to only a quarter of its members being online at the time. Recovery was swift to occur, however.

NUWA and Fulcrum would sign a non-agression pact at the conclusion of the conflict, as both sides realize that both had the power to destroy each other and to recover afterwards, a sign of a never-ending war.

Result: Decisive Pakistani Victory.

|Seljuk Invasion (11/22/20)
|What many had doubted would occur, became a reality. The Seljuks initiated a raid that affected most of the world. 80% of Fulcrum territory was lost.

Fulcrum originally intended to join a coalition headed by NUWA against the Seljuks. However, BenHerr declared neutrality in the conflict once a high ranking NUWA member, more than once, suggested that Fulcrum was untrustworthy. A vicious response was received from NUWA and other members of the coalition following the neutrality declaration.

Triumvirs BenHerr and Vadar12 would rule, based on the brazen reactions and the fact that none of it’s members attempted to reach out to repair diplomatic relations, that the coalition was in fact planning to use Fulcrum to gain extra manpower, and then take their lands after Selj was dealt with.

As a result of this situation, it was decided that NUWA had defiled the NAP. And due to numerous invasions inflicted by NUWA and its allies in previous days, Triumvir BenHerr declared an alliance with the Seljuks, stating that the Turkish faction “actually upheld honor” compared to the hostile coalition against them.

Not much more scrutiny was heaved onto Fulcrum as the majority of anti-Seljuk factions had already expressed their hatred of the Faction.

As the Seljuk raid presence began to retreat and its land retaken by its neighbors, Fulcrum managed to maintain control of its islands north of Siberia. Due to the unstable political climate, re-invasion of their Siberian claims (which are as of this writing controlled by BLND), have been delayed.

After a long break, Medfred3 has returned as of 1/4/23 and has planned to stay at least for the time being. He is what many consider to be an "OG Player" who has been around before YouTuber Drew Durnil created a video on the game, causing a massive player spike.

Medfred3 has had multiple factions over his time of playing pixelplace.io. Most notably [[MRCA]], [[NRAL]], [[Barren - AUS]], and now MDNW, his current faction. MDNW has had claims on 4 continents, and those being South America, Asia, and Oceania. After his Discord account was falsely banned, he left pixelplace.io and forgot about it. MDNW is a bit of a resurgence for Medfred3. He plans to stay at least for now, and he plans to do much more with his self-proclaimed improved art skills.

NUWA was created by [[MLGdigimon]]. The name, stands for New United World Alliance. NUWA was used as an anti-FULC alliance guild and gathered its second FULC-era member [[NoName1]]. Then when FULC died NUWA started to become a major player in the game and was revitalised many times under different leaderships.

The rise of nuwa started with this war, one of many. many people disliked fulc and many decided to fight as a united force against them. at first, it was random colours, then yellow was the more dominant one, so more and more people joined as yellow. NoName1 started this "revolution" into a nation and used one of his old name ideas, and then NUWA was born again. A war against [[FULC (Fulcrum)|FULC]] that helped annihilate them.

NUWA had gained power but a new power had emerged. SELJ had taken a lot of land and was very powerful. They weren't allies and one day they attacked the NUWA mainland. NUWA was not happy and that's when the darkest day of NUWAneese history happened. [[NoName1|NoName]] almost retired and was depressed. The war started and it was a close one. SELJ did a great job at controlling information. However, they had made a lot of people angry with how large they had expanded and a lot of people fought. 4 SELJ wars emerged and it was a NUWAneese victory.

=== TROP-NUWA cold war ===
TROP was growing in strength and NUWA grew very wary. Both had gained a lot of enemies. Eventually, a war emerged and TROP took PEI and the coast. NUWA hated trop from that point on and the TROP-NUWA cold war began. Both shared NORD friendship. Eventually, because of the [[League of Nations]] and the effort of ThingBing and [[Scratchsim]], peace talks were held. [[CrystalWolf9]] became an issue in this due to his close relations to nuwa and dislike of trop, so they prevented him from entering the private peace server under fear of that causing a fall of peace talks. NUWA and TROP became good friends and even united to form NNTK which then formed NTRP which then went back to NNTK again and then NUWA and TROP uniformly, but peacefully, separated into their own separate guilds. Now they are good friends.

=== CSNA-NUWA Wars of America (also known as the 2nd SELJ Wars) ===
after NUWA has been attacked multiple times by SELJ, CSNA appeared and considered NUWA as the major American nemesis. The battle started of a quick 6 player battle in Mexico started by CSNA on their first campaign. CSNA quickly gathered up to 9 people and got all of NA quickly leaving NUWA with Canada. Soon, NUWA countered, getting all of NA again. After CSNA allied SELJ, CSNA launched a big campaign with more than 15 people right into America while and this was the first world campaign for CSNA / SELJ alignment. Soon after no name got banned from MVP so he quit. NUWA tried a comeback aligning with anti SELJ pact and gathering up to 10 people CSNA leaders got really mad and ordered a full mobilization, this was one of the largest MVP battles if not the largest, over 40 players fought in 1 area, at first NUWA was winning and then CSNA struck back with more than 25 members from SELJ / CSNA / LAKE / UPF and quickly outnumbered them. NUWA continued to exist but because [[NoName1|NoName]] was banned he quit MVP until the mods quit their tyranny. They became purely ceremonial and NUWA would emerge every once and a while.

<big>NUWA civil war</big>

In January of 2021 NUWA returned to retake the us, split between MLGdigimons nuwa and NoName's nuwa. They divided the country in two, over the course of a day, NoName, along with other members overtook MLGdigimon in a civil war that would define the guilds legacy. In the end NoName won out, now brandishing a new flag design they continue to hold the us as of 2/7/2021. While NUWA might never return to its former glory it has restored its name in the eyes of most as its most hated member, MLGdigimon was finally delt with. NUWA has an uncertain future but at this point things are looking up.

In February 16th, SPQR invaded the USA from the south, and 3 countries broke away on the east coast. At first SPQR was able to take much of the land and Walmartobama was caught skipdotting. However, more people began to support NUWA and NUWA got its land back, and took over the 3 breakaway states as well.

NORD is a medium-sized faction most prominent on MVP (canvas 8) which also appears on Regular World War (Canvas 7) and Inverted (Canvas 9). It's flag is a combination of all Scandinavian countries.

==History==
Nord's most active member is Marsbound who plays almost every day and was the person who made NORD the largest faction on MVP in late December of 2019 and in Mid-Febuary of 2020. He also originally created the faction in Mid November to unite the Nordic Nation on the Regular World War map before quitting and then joining MVP. He then re-joined the faction as it was created again. This second creation of NORD is sometimes called NORD II and the original was NORD I. Marsbound's last act as the leader of NORD II was to slit up his lands to his allies. NORD III was started days after the fall of NORD II. It was meant to be a smaller empire in North Europe. Nord III then died as Marsbound took a 2 week break form the game. He then returned in early February after KLMR (Kalmar Union) essentially remade the nation. This Kalmar Union form of NORD. and the current Nord, is known as Nord IV. During Nord IV, Nord united with New Mexico. Nord was very inactive between March and May of 2020, mainly due to constant war with Fulcrum and Flux, once again making it a "Banned Nation". ToastbrotJ became the sole active member of Nord this time until May when Marsbound Rejoined and Nord began to grow again. Until June, Nord was unified with NUWA, until breaking free with help from Notty03 and making The Nordic Union. In July of 2020, NUWA was absorbed into NORD. NoName2 and many other players soon joined NORD, including Coolguy1 and Lulisis.Marsbound re-joined the NORD discord server and influenced Limeio to rejoin MVP.

The beginning of Nord II. This is during the Japanese-World War. This is when Nord truly came into existence. This was in late December 2019, just a few days after ToastbrotJ joined NORD.

Early on, Nord ate lands from the collapsing Japanese world empire to gain lands in Russia. These Russian lands would last a very, very long time.

This was taken after FLUX was disintegrated by Cyclic.This would be seen as Nord's final expansion.

This was when Nord II was at what some consider to be its peak. Not too longer after this, Nord II would collapse.

Nord III did not last very long, and did not get very large. Nord III also covered the era in which Nord could essentially not be made. This was when Nord was a "Banned Nation."

NNAU (New Norse African Union) is a faction which was created by [[Realwdpcker]], its starting point originates in Cameroon MVP. It started its journey as when the Kosovo (totally not [[Seljuk Turks|selj]] raid) was over. Its flag is inspired [[OBMR]] and [[Realwdpcker]]'s current faction [[LIME]]. Its goal is to take over as much as possible without any bullshit and interferece, Its current goals is to fully occupy africa and then southern Asia.

It is a current puppet state operated by the White Macau Republic in China, which means it shares its current allies with the ones of the main country. It is currently allied to [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alaska]] (ToastbrotJ), AMCA (Alphamuffin) and the [[GabbyAckbar|Lime Americas]] (GabbyAckbar).

Its current enemys are [[CSNA]] and [[USSR]].

The owner of all respective factions is [[Realwdpcker]].

It was started at the "death (stagnation) of MVP" which had made it have more opportunites to expand.

==History==

He played on [[PIXELS WORLD WAR|/7]] for the most part, partaking in BYZA and multiple tiny guilds. His first guild was (appropriately) ISRL.

He went on a hiatus for about 4 months, and rejoined /7 in late October. On that same day, he joined MVP and TEOR.

A few days later, he founded BAVR and started to gain a following by playing as Bavaria in Austria.

When he was active, he would conquer much (or all) of Europe as Bavaria every few weeks.

Although he was friends with a few high profile members, he didn't gain that much attention until 22nd of December, when he started to give away 1-month premiums and rainbows. This effectively started the Gifter Wars, which has ended with his ban on January 5th.

Since his ban, he disabled his Discord account and went on a hiatus until early April, when he rejoined pixelplace despite being permamuted, he's only active on Kazali's WW1 RP

== Pedophilia Allegations and Ban ==
On 4th of January, he entered huge drama, being accused by Ifyou of pedophilia, despite being a minor himself, allegedly, he watched nudes sent by Sarpi58, although, no evidence was put forward in favor of the allegations, soon later, Sarpi58 got banned (for making child porn) and SaltySebba was muted (temporarily) for sending a death threat to Ifyou.

On January 5th, he was permanently banned for asking for nudes from a minor.

After his ban, he joined pixelplace every few days with an alternate account, which gets muted as soon as it chats in MVP, although, none of his alts that didn't talk there got muted.

CANA

[[File:Screenshot 2020-10-27 at 16.41.09.png|thumb|220x220px]]After the [[CSNA|2nd fall of CSNA]], 2 future CANA members, [[Golden1]] and Lucasboi7 started to conquer Canada in white, establishing what would then become CANA within 2 days along with ToastbrotJ, expanding [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alaska]] and taking a small chunk of the land. They would soon border an independent Quebec, both of which CANA immediately allied with.
== Expansion and border disputes ==
Immediately after the formation of the previously mentioned nations and Amish country (which seized the Maritimes) tensions started rising within the North American continent with CANA moving the Quebec border back as to give it more area. Multiple invasions of the maritimes soon took place, which came to an end once [[NUWA]], their neighbour to the south took all of the USA. As a result, Golden1 (leader of the guild) would seize the maritimes to NUWA as a gesture of diplomatic alliance. Quebec was annaxed soon after. Smaller border disputes with Alaska over a peninsula near Inuvik in the northwest territories also occured in the span of several months, causing a dispute between ToastbrotJ and Golden1.

ToastbrotJ was never satisfied with the land he got since he had struggled holding out against CSNA, but barely gained anything after it was finally defeated.

On Nov. 22nd 2021 at 8:00am EST the Seljuk empire rose again in a new campaign and invaded most of the canvas and started making its way to Canada.

by 10:29 EST SELJ had captured all of Canada except for Nunavut and Greenland.

by 11:15 SELJ forfeited their short occupation of the land and rebuilding was completed the same day.

Seljuk's World War

Seljuk's World War was a war that started around 11/22/2020, 5:30 AM EDT, when Seljuk took over Persia. Seljuk expanded more, first to Africa, then the Middle East, and parts of Europe. People tried to stop Seljuk, but the enemies fell. Africa fell first, followed by Persia, and Paki. Seljuk conquered America, and player ToastbrotJ managed to avoid an invasion of [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alaska]] by replacing the cross with the SELJ eagle. Seljuk conquered Canada, and Fulcrum. Seljuk puppeted some countries in Europe. Seljuk is currently taking over Pinkland. After a long time covering parts of the world, Seljuk got tired and declined, causing many countries to take back their land. War has ended in a decisive Coalition victory. At 5:30 PM, 11/23/2020, the last of Seljuk's lands in Russia fell and Canada was returned to normalcy.

UPF

UPF (United pixel factions) was a major [[MVP Rules|MVP]] alliance established on 2020-04-10, 1:10:57 PM CST Time by [[AnXavers]], after he took control of the [[TATA]] Discord during the faction's disbandment. UPF's name would originate from plans by [[TQTA]], a precursor alliance that planned to rebrand itself to "United Pixel Factions". However, [[TQTA]] collapsed before the name change was implemented. And so, [[AnXavers]] took the name for himself, once he established his own alliance.

UPF would grow into a successful and massive alliance that encompassed numerous factions. At it's peak, UPF essentially had control over the entirety of Canvas 8, launching joint invasions against rogue states when it was deemed necessary.

By mid-May 2020, UPF became extremely disorganized, and weakened. During this wane, a special group was created from a few key factions within the alliance, called [[Fulcrum Command]], which was authorized to oversee UPF's military operations. Unbeknownst to [[AnXavers]], [[Fulcrum Alliance|Fulcrum]] originally planned to take complete control of UPF in the event of complete leadership failure. Though while this did not come to pass, [[Fulcrum Alliance|Fulcrum]] eventually broke away from UPF to become its own [[FULC (Fulcrum)|faction]], yet retaining friendly relations with the alliance and was granted membership.

During the summer of 2020, UPF managed to reorganize enough to retain most of it's strength and remaining influence. However, it's efforts would not bring lasting results. Disorganization and turmoil was to plague the global organization. Members of key factions within the alliance would also become inactive. And with the eventual decline of Fulcrum, UPF itself would also decline even further. By Fall 2020, UPF had essentially become defunct, with most of it's members withdrawing or becoming inactive. On November 15th, 2020, 1:15 PM CST, [[AnXavers]] marked the end of the United Pixel Alliance on the official UPF discord, saying "UPF is now disbanding, rest in peace...".

Nord-Spain Korean War

This was a war that started on the 22nd of December, 2019 on [[Pixels World War: MVP|MVP World War]] between [[NORD]] and [[Spain|Spain (SPAI)]]. The conflict would first break out in Spanish owned Korean peninsula. While Spain managed to keep a hold on Korea, the faction did lose territory in other locations, primarily in Africa. Other nations such as [[Alaska (ToastbrotJ)|Alaska]], [[BLUE]], [[FLUX]], and Japan would join the war later on as well.
==War Results==
Spain would retain territories in areas such as the Korean Peninsula but would lose other territories.

NORD gained Spain's African territories but would lose previously held land in other areas.

Flux gained territory.

Alaska gained territory.

Blue lost territory.

Japan would undergo government reform and would gain South Korea as a territory.
