PixelCraft Season 2: How to Play

Dig connected tunnels, find hidden loot, gather Wood, improve your axe, and play fair.

Quick Start

  1. Open board 101669 and start on the mine entrance: row y=208.
  2. Mine only within x=0–1598 and y=208–1804.
  3. Place a white pixel (PixelPlace color ID 0) on the entrance row or edge-adjacent to a connected white tunnel or revealed loot.
  4. Keep digging to discover loot automatically. The bot awards it and announces the location in chat.

Required: tunnels connect by an edge only—diagonals do not count. Wrong-color, disconnected, or out-of-area attempts are restored and do not award loot.

Digging & Durability

Every player starts with a level-1 axe with 50 durability. Accepted mine pixels consume durability based on depth:

RowsDurability per pixel
208–3161
317–7442
745–10323
1033–18044

Digging deeper is more rewarding and more expensive. Check your axe before making a long run.

Axe Upgrades & Recovery

UpgradeCostBenefit
Level 1 → 23 Coal, 5 Raw Iron, 3 WoodMaximum durability becomes 100.
Level 2 → 31 Emerald, 4 Diamonds, 32 Raw Iron, 64 Coal, 20 WoodLoot sense: alerts you when accepted mining is within 3 pixels horizontally and vertically of unclaimed loot. 3-minute cooldown.
Level 3 → 42 Emeralds, 10 Diamonds, 64 Raw Iron, 128 Coal, 50 Wood, 1 RedstoneCustomize which loot types trigger loot-sense alerts.
Level 4 → 51 NetheriteYour axe becomes unbreakable and never needs to be replaced.

Use axeinfo to check your level and durability. A broken axe requires either its four-character recovery code (request it with axe) or two clicks on the repair box around x=1517–1576, y=173–196; the bot tells you which recovery applies.

Level 4+ Loot Sense: axesense

Use this only with a Level 4 or Level 5 axe. Send every axesense command to the gamebot by private message (privmsg). Commands sent in painting chat do not change your settings.

Loot sense only controls nearby-loot alerts. It never changes mining, loot collection, or what you can discover. Your choices are saved between bot restarts. A Level 3 axe senses nearby loot too, but cannot customize its alert list.

  • axesense — show your current loot-sense settings.
  • axesense off coal — stop Coal alerts.
  • axesense on coal — turn Coal alerts back on.
  • axesense off lapis lazuli — stop Lapis Lazuli alerts. Multiword loot names work.
  • axesense only diamond, emerald, raw iron — receive alerts only for those comma-separated loot types.
  • axesense all — restore alerts for every senseable loot type and clear custom exclusions.

Senseable Loot Types

Coal, Raw Iron, Raw Copper, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Raw Gold, Amethyst Shard, Diamond, Emerald, Bread, Torch, Seeds, Echo Shard, Golden Apple, Enchanted Book, Enchanted Golden Apple, Creeper, Pixel Missile, 3 Days Premium, Treasure Chest, One Month Premium, PXP Crate, Atomic Bomb, Avatar Bomb, and Love Mail.

Netherite cannot be sensed. axesense on netherite and including Netherite in an axesense only … list are rejected. axesense all does not include Netherite.

Trees & Wood

Three protected trees begin around (332,185), (351,185), and (370,185).

  • Click an intact tree pixel with white.
  • Every 20 valid clicks earns 1 Wood.
  • A clicked pixel turns blue for 2 minutes, then restores. It cannot count again until restored.
  • Non-white clicks never count or accelerate the timer.

Use checkwood to see unspent Wood. Wood is used for axe upgrades and TNT.

TNT & Mine Protection

Use maketnt to craft 1 TNT for 5 Coal + 4 Wood.

  • Place a red pixel (color ID 20) in the mine to use TNT.
  • The red pixel is the blast’s top-left corner; it clears a 5×5 block down and right and awards any loot inside.
  • Blasts must fit in the playable area, cannot target trees, and have a 5-minute personal cooldown.
  • Each blast protects a 50×50 mine zone for 2 hours. You may mine there; other players cannot mine or use TNT there.

Zones do not overlap: earlier protection has priority. A red outline marks the protected area.

Lucky Librarian

Take a chance with the Lucky Librarian. Choose a wager material; every attempt consumes 5 available items of that type, whether or not it wins a prize.

Wager requirement: you need at least 5 of the material you choose—Coal, Raw Iron, Raw Copper, Redstone, Raw Gold, or Wood—to place that wager. A loss has no prize.

Cooldowns & Hazards

  • Deep fatigue: after 5 minutes of continuous activity including row 1033+, take a 2-minute cooldown. More than 1 minute idle resets it.
  • Repair-box clicks can reduce fatigue by 5 seconds each, up to 1 minute total.
  • Creeper: explosion and 30-second cooldown; nearby unclaimed Creepers may be warned about.
  • Cave-in: refills a 30×30 tunnel area and causes a 10-second cooldown. Already found loot stays revealed.

Loot, Points & Fair Play

Loot is awarded automatically when you find it. Basic values range from Coal (1) through Emerald (25) and Echo Shard (30); configured gifts can be worth more. The on-canvas loot table is the authority for what remains—there is no guaranteed loot count or location.

Fair play: no botting or automated pixel placement, and no alternate accounts. Use one account per person. Rejected mine attempts are simply restored; they do not grant loot or create a penalty cooldown.
